Why you need a coach.
When we think about a Coach, we tend to think about sport specialists that help athletes or teams become the best they can be.
From time to time, we all could use a coach: someone in our corner to get us “unstuck” from patterns of negativity and self-sabotaging beliefs; someone to guide us toward better outcomes or keep us accountable in our pursuit of personal or professional goals.
How about you? Do you need someone to help you achieve a more balanced lifestyle, increase your motivation and productivity, or help you to improve your physical or mental well being?
Ready to start your journey to becoming the best version of you?
Life is a journey.
Ask for directions!
Life has a beginning, an end, and limitless opportunities to zig, zag, turn corners and change direction along the way. We get busy; we lose focus; we become overwhelmed; we get lost. Not unlike a travel-specialist, I can help you chart a course and support you as you navigate the unexpected twists and turns along the way.
With a fresh perspective, we will work together to identify your strengths and weaknesses, develop strategies for your personal development, and create and implement an individualized action plan to turn intention into reality. We will identify limiting beliefs that are sabotaging your growth, positive habits as well as unhealthy behaviors. My role is to develop the road map and provide the accountability and support to help you succeed.
One-on-One and Group Coaching Available.

Train for your next adventure!
What comes to mind when you think of a Personal Trainer? Is it meeting a Trainer in a facility of scary looking equipment, full of people who look more fit than you, or is it the thought of doing countless reps of boring squats and bicep curls?
What if you visualized something else altogether? Close your eyes and imagine your bucket list – does it include travel to far off and exotic lands, warm and sunny beaches, golf courses, or long and winding mountain trails. Are you trying to get into better shape so that you can play with your children or grandchildren, dig in your garden, or hike, bike, or ski with family and friends?
Now imagine what it is going to take to accomplish your goals. Are you strong enough to schlep your luggage through large airports unaided, do you have the endurance to keep up with your grandchildren or explore unknown trails with variable elevations? Do you have the flexibility and balance to plant seeds, pull weeds or haul bags of topsoil from the trunk of your car?
At Scary Bunny Fitness and Wellness Coaching, our focus is helping you accomplish your goals, whatever they may be. We assess where you are today, discuss mobility, flexibility, and endurance concerns that you may have, find out what items on your bucket list you want to check off, and create an individualized plan to help you get there. We even meet online in the comfort of your own home – no scary fitness spaces!
One-on-One and Group Training Available.
Let’s get to work on that bucket list – there is no time like the present!
Guiding you to a healthy, strong, and nutritious life.
We have the opportunity everyday to make healthy choices around how we move our body and what we use to fuel and nourish it. The reality is that much of the time, we are not actively thinking about it. We mindlessly eat away our feelings of sadness, frustration, anger, and boredom, or spend long hours, sloth-like, in front of the television when a brisk walk in the fresh air is a healthier option.
Unchecked, the negative behaviours become habits. We become lethargic, our favorite outfits no longer fit, depression sets in, leading to carb consumption…and the beat goes on. Sound familiar?
I can help you make positive fitness and nutrition choices today that will result in increased energy and motivation, better control over your weight, and ensure that you are “fit” to enjoy a long, healthy, and vibrant life.

Become an effective and more loving caregiver.
Few of us ever expect to become a caregiver to a loved one. Whether you have been thrust into the role or made the loving choice to take on that responsibility, it is life changing.
You have entered a world you know nothing about. Your loved one may be in pain or facing physical or mental challenges. They may be fighting hard to maintain their independence, and angry at you for trying to take it away. They are fearful of their future, as you are of yours. You are now accompanying them on medical appointments, meetings with home care providers or assisted living and long-term care facilities – without your loved one’s blessing. You may feel unappreciated and, coupled with your other responsibilities — work, family, household, pets – completely overwhelmed.
Everyone’s journey as a family caregiver is as unique as the person or people they are caring for. Having been a family caregiver to both of my parents, I know first-hand that there are good days and not so good days. There are things you can do to make the bad days better and life skills you may not even be aware you have that will help you navigate the constantly changing circumstances with grace, courage and empathy.
